With a layer thickness 0.1mm (resolution 100 microns), you can enjoy printing high quality and beautiful objects. Like all 3D printers, printing of more complicated objects has a learning curve and needs you to choose the right layer thickness, speed and temperature.

The fully enclosed workspace stabilizes the temperature and this factor is very important in creating high quality prints.

Decent Print Volume

Build volume 9 in x 5.9 in x 5.5 in ( 230 mm x 150 mm x 140 mm ) is a medium level amongst all the 3D printers on sale. It is equal to 4.83 litters of volume. Most of the objects that need to be printed fit into this size.

Decent Printing Speed

The build speed is variable between 80mm/s to 120mm/s. At the standard setting, it is 100 mm/s. Please keep in mind that increasing the printing speed can adversely affect the quality of the printed part.

Very Easy Manual Bed Levelling

You can do this important and vital set up through on board screen. You need to use level icon under Tools menu . Tapping this icon will begin the process of leveling the build platform.

The touch screen guides you through step by step instructions on how to level the build platform using the leveling knobs and the provided leveling sheet.

The printing bed on all 3D printers needs to be levelled every 15-20 prints depending on the type of the work that is done by the machine and Dremel is not an exception.

Printing Material

PLA is the only printable material on this 3D printer. Since the printing bed can’t be heated on this machine you will not be able to print ABS parts with it.

Detachable Printing Bed

With this facility, separating the printed part from the bed becomes really easy.

Detaching the printed parts is one of the main reasons that the geometrical set-up and leveling of a machine changes. This feature helps you keep the bed level for longer periods.

Prints Directly from SD Card

On-board software permits standalone operation when needed. You can load the 3D model to the printer using a SD card and start printing without the need to be connected to your computer. This way your computer is not engaged during printing time and you can use it for other favourite tasks. Your machine accepts SD cards up to 32 GB.

Intelligent Full Color Touch Screen

Full color IPS touch screen is used for interaction with on-board software. You can also have an optimal preview of the objects. You can manually move the extruder in X, Y and Z directions. Printer settings (especially bed levelling) can be performed easily with the directions that are provided through this screen.

The Dremel 3D software will display the weight of each model. You can determine whether you have enough filament to complete your object before building.

Single Extruder

This machine has a single extruder and its temperature could be set, up to 230C / 397F.

Using the Pause/Play and Filament icons on Build menu, you can pause the printer and change the filament. With some more experience on your machine this action can be used to create multi-color objects. To be successful in multi-color printing, follow the unloading instruction of your printer to unload the previous filament successfully and then loading instruction to load the new filament with success.

Do not change color of filament or spool during building. Doing so will cancel the object and may damage the extruder.
